Soft Skills
 
The Department of English, in association with the Placement Cell, conducts classes to enhance the soft skills of our students, keeping in view the urgent demands of the corporate world. The focus is on students'   communication and presentation skills. Students are encouraged to use the English Language Lab in this endeavour.
To inculcate life skills and Global competencies regular classes are conducted within college hours.
Women Empowerment Cell
 
The objective of the cell is to create an atmosphere of awareness and enlightenment among the girls regarding their duties and rights. Health and Hygiene issues concerning girls are addressed by renowned gynecologists. Asmita Foundation, an NGO working for the betterment of women, conducts general awareness programmes on the campus. Any suggestions, issues and grievances concerning girls can be addressed to the cell.
 
Entrepreneurship Development Cell
 
This cell addresses the Professional needs of students helping them to become dynamic entrepreneurs. It conducts various awareness programmes, like Seminars/ Workshops/ Interaction with young Entrepreneurs etc. These programmes will be aimed at making the student community more enthusiastic towards entrepreneurial activity. The Advisory Board for the cell comprises members from the industry, financial institutions, R & D, Government institutions etc., The board will guide and advise the cell in organising various activities.
Entrepreneurship week is an awareness campaign initiated by NEN which is the country's largest campaign to celebrate Entrepreneurship and to promote and improve Entrepreneurial ecosystem. As part of this initiative , management students of St. Joseph's PG College celebrate E-Week through a range of activities and programs, at a very grand scale on 9th Feb, 2010 in the campus.

There is an Audio Visual room with a plasma TV and other Home Theater equipment for the students to watch some educational programmes. A good Public Address system is available on campus for seminars and presentations.

The Editorial Board of the college, along with student representatives with a flair for writing, is involved in publishing the College News Digest, brought out twice a year along with the college magazine. The students also are involved in bringing out an online Newspaper, "The Catalyst", under the Papyrus Club, a unit of the Deccan Chronicle, a leading news paper.
 
Career Guidance
 
Career guidance is offered to students through talks and lectures by guest faculty drawn from various disciplines.
 
Grievance Cell
 
The grievance cell caters to the complaints and suggestions of the students, be it academic or non-academic. Faculty members of MCA and MBA constitute the grievance cell and find ways and means of redressal. The students are encouraged to appproach any one of the grievance committee members or drop in their suggestions / complaints in the suggestion boxes kept near the office , Library and Computer lab. Twice a week, the boxes are opened and the grievance committee proactively deals with them.
 
Class Rooms
 
To create a healthy atmosphere during the learning sessions, the College provides spacious, well-furnished and ventilated classrooms that are conducive to teaching and learning activities. The classrooms are equiped with ICT-backed teaching aids like LCD and OHP, in addition to Chalk and Board.

Seminar Halls: Space to learn and interact
 
Joseph's HallThe campus has two high-tech seminar halls, equipped with the latest facilities to make each event successful.

The seminar halls has a seating capacity of about 150 each, provides captivating ambience, different from the usual classroom atmosphere for presentations, guest lectures and seminars.

The College has well stocked libraries with a vast collection of books, peroidicals & journals, catering to the needs of both MBA and MCA. Seperate reading and reference sections are provided.The library services are fully computerized with Web based Library automation software - "NewGenLib".

The Library is networked to other libraries via DELNET. This enable the sharing of library resources. The college also has membership with British Library and Information Dissemination Centre (IDC) for sharing of information.

Computer Lab
 
The College has provided a full fledged IT Resource Centre and Computer Labs. The latest state of the art Hardware and Software provides opportunity to learn the nuances of Operating Systems, Programming, Networking, Web Enabled Operations and Multimedia.

It has a LAN bridged with 90 terminals and legal software with intranet facilities that assists students in their course. The lab also includes an IBM file server and Linux server for students’ login.
